Leeds Bradford Airport Live Flight Departures
Leeds Bradford Airport Departures
There is one terminal building at the airport split into two floors. There are two check in areas (Area A and Area B). Make sure you know which one you need to check into when you book your flight/holiday. Having said that both check in areas are on the ground floor and as the airport is relatively small it wouldn´t be a big problem if you went to the wrong one, just a bit time consuming and frustrating.
On the ground floor in the check in areas there are several shops and eating and drinking places.
In the Check in area A there is a WH Smith and in the general departures area (before going through passport control) is Travelex (money exchange), Superdrug, Greggs Baker, Food Village, Yates Pub. So there are plenty of facilities and these are also available to non-travellers.

To use this channel you will need to show your boarding card. This facility is for the above airlines and members of the Yorkshire Executive Club. This service is to make the process quicker for regular business and frequent flyer passengers.
Make sure you have checked with your airline at the time of booking what the check in time is as airlines differ. Also, it is normal that you are the boarding gate at least 45 minutes prior to take off.
Once you have checked in (depending on the amount of time you have) it is advisable to go through to the departures lounge. Passport control and security is on the first floor (lifts available).
