Edinburgh Airport Passenger Information
The terminal building is strictly a non-smoking area. Failure to adhere to this could cost you a £50 fine.
The Information and Tourist Information desk is in the International Arrivals Area on the ground floor.
There are plenty of toilets throughout the terminal building which are suitable for disabled and wheelchair access. Also with baby changing facilities.
Public telephones are situated throughout the airport and well signposted.
Children's Facilities at Edinburgh Airport
There are plenty of baby changing facilities within the airport terminal building which are well sign-posted - before security, alter security and in the international baggage reclaim area.
There is a small unsupervised play area after security, near Gate 3, with toys and puzzles to help keep youngsters distracted.
Fingabox interactive play screens for children can be found at various locations in the terminal, including near Gates 2, 4, 9 and 11 and in UK Arrivals.
Some children's entertainments are also provided in the family area of the first-floor Food Village (near Caffè Nero ).
Disabled Facilities at Edinburgh Airport
For those needing assistance there is a new Helping Hand Service operating at the airport by Servisair. They can offer help on your arrival at the airport and again on your return arrival. For full details see our useful information web page or contact email@example.com
For disabled parking there are a number of spaces in both long and short stay car parks. If you require this parking it is advised that you contact the airport in advance if you are going to require assistance or transport from the car park to the terminal building.
Lifts are available to the first floor.
Internet Facilities at Edinburgh Airport
Internet Access is available both before and after security in the Terminal Building, payable by credit card, £ or € coins. Wireless internet is available throughout the airport if your laptop is wireless compatible. Internet is also available in the Executive/Business Lounge located in the Departures Lounge after security.
Medical Facilities at Edinburgh Airport
There is no dedicated first aid room in the terminal building. If you require assistance contact a member of staff or the Information Desk.
Money Changing Facilities at Edinburgh Airport
There are ATM cash dispensers in the departures area both before security and alter security.
Also, money exchange (several outlets) are available both in the departures area (check in) and in the International arrivals area.

VIP & Business Lounges at Edinburgh Airport
There are three Business Lounges in the Departures Lounge area, operated by Servisair, BMI and British Airways.All lounges are comfortable and offer the usual complimentary drinks, snacks, internet, telephone, fax facilities etc. TV, newspapers.
The Servisair Lounge is situated in the departure lounge after security. The lounge can be used by showing your boarding card. Prices are from £15 to around £18 per person per visit. You can pay on arrival but it is preferable to book in advance to guarantee entry during busy times and it will be cheaper .Smoking is not permitted and children are not allowed. The BMI Diamond Club Lounge is for use by diamond club gold and silver card members, Star Alliance gold card members and Bmi or Bmibaby passengers travelling business class or full fare economy ticket only. You cannot just turn up and pay on the door to use this lounge. Opening times are 05:30 to 20.39 Monday to Friday and 05:30 to 18:00 at weekends.
The British Airways Executive Club Lounge is for al Silver and gold British Airways Executive Club members, Club Europe and those with a fully flexible domestic ticket. Silver and Gold Executive Club members can also be accompanied by one guest, if capacity allows this.

Pet Travel at Edinburgh Airport
If you wish to fly your pet in or out of the UK, then you will need to check that your pet has the correct vaccinations and passport and which airline with transport your pet.
A service operates from the airport in Building number 300 based in the World Freight Terminal. This is the Pet Travel Scheme (PETS) and is run by Pets On Jets.
If your pet qualifies then it will remove the need for them to spend six months in quarantine.

Prayer Room at Edinburgh Airport
The Edinburgh Airport prayer room for all faiths and denominations is in the international arrivals area on the ground floor, next to the airport and tourist information desk.
The prayer room is open at all times for anyone who wishes to carry out religious observances or to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
