Taxis at Bristol Airport

Bristol Airport taxisAs a rough guide the journey to Bristol City centre will take between 20 and 30 minutes (depending on the traffic) and cost around £20.

In Bristol there are approximately 712 licensed taxis and approximately 728 private hire vehicles. Taxis can be easily spotted by roof top signs and can be found at designated ranks or hailed in the street. They all have taxi meters where the tariff is set by the council. Private hire vehicles do not have a roof sign and must be pre-booked. They cannot be hailed in the street or picked up at a rank. The fares for private hire vehicles are not controlled by the council and should be negotiated before the start of your journey or when being booked.

There are taxi ranks located at Temple Meads Station and at the Bus Station as well as numerous locations around the Centre and Broadmead.
