Birmingham Airport Buses
There is a good local and national bus network from the airport. All the bus stops are situated outside Terminal 1. Note that there are no overnight services but the buses do operate from early morning until late at night.
The local services are operated by Travel West Midlands . If you decide to travel with these services remember that you MUST have the correct change for your journey as the company operates an exact fare policy.

900 Airport Link to Birmingham City Centre (Stop J) via Sheldon, South Yardley, Digbeth. Monday-Sunday at 30 minute intervals.
900 Airport Link to Coventry (Stop K) via Meriden, Allesley. Monday-Sunday at 30 minute intervals.
966/966A Airport Link to Solihull Rail Station (Stop K) via Damsonwood, Lode Heath, Solihull Town Centre. Monday-Sunday at 30 minute intervals.
966/966A Airport Link to Erdington (Stop L) via Chelmsley Wood, Castle Bromwich. Monday-Sunday at 30 minute intervals.
58 to Birmingham City Centre (Stop J) via Sheldon, Olton, Acocks Green, Sparkbrook, Digbeth. Monday to Saturday every 30 minutes.

National Express West Midlands (operating services 58, 900 and 966) are based upon fare stages. The easiest way to find out your fare is to ask the driver.
Most journeys in the West Midlands cost £1.70.
National Express West Midlands drivers are not able to give change.
Coaches at Birmingham Airport
National Express operates long distance coach services linking the Airport to a number of cities and other airports. Coaches arrive and depart from Bus Stop G outside Terminal 1 arrivals.
It is preferable to pre-book although you can pay the driver if there are seats available, but this is a bit of a risk. Digbeth coach station in Birmingham City Centre is where most of the National Express network with services to many parts of the UK, and is about 20 minutes away from the Airport and easy to reach using the 900 bus service.
